Educator: My name is Giulio Bortolozzo. I have taught from preschool age to year 12 students in general subjects, as an ESL (English as a Second Language) Specialist and I currently work as a counsellor. I have taught in mainly disadvantaged schools locally and also in regional South Australia. I have taught in London and Glasgow, UK.
Counsellor: I am a qualified and experienced counsellor. My specialism is Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. I counsel clients of all ages who may present with a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs. I believe that as constructivists we have developed 'habits of believing' (personal philosophies) that can be either helpful or unhelpful. Helping clients help themselves is my goal.
Trainer: My Rational Emotive Behaviour Education Framework is being used in many schools in South Australia and has been well received. I provide training and information workshops to schools and parent/carers about REBT theory and practice. I train educators and other professional groups in the use of Albert Ellis' ABC Theory of Emotional Disturbance in the counselling context. I have worked as a professional learning facilitator and in a 'train the trainer' capacity in counselling theory and practice and also in the area of ESL (English as a Second Language). I have worked locally, nationally and internationally.
